Surfshark is a consumer VPN with unlimited simultaneous connections. Its current pricing page lists 4,500+ servers in 100 countries, replacing the 3,200+ figure in our previous version. The published features include CleanWeb, obfuscated servers, NoBorders, and IP rotation. Feature availability depends on your app and platform; no feature guarantees access on a particular restricted network.

If you need proof of performance on a specific route, this documentation-based review cannot provide it. Try the connection you actually need rather than choosing from an unsupported speed ranking. What works well

Unlimited devices

Surfshark documents unlimited simultaneous connections. That differs from NordVPN’s current ten-device allowance and Proton VPN Plus’s ten-device allowance. Unlimited connections are not unique across the entire VPN market, and they do not mean permission to resell an account or ignore subscription terms.

For LGBTQ+ travelers who carry multiple devices and want to protect a partner’s devices too, unlimited is a real differentiator.

Price

Our October check did not expose a complete region-specific price table. We have therefore removed the old $2.19 claim and the unsupported “cheapest” ranking. Check the full first-term payment, term length including any bonus months, renewal rate, and tax in your own checkout.

Netherlands jurisdiction

The official page identifies Surfshark B.V. in the Netherlands and describes an audited no-logs policy. These are provider disclosures, not proof that a particular user cannot be identified. Jurisdiction alone is not a safety rating.

CleanWeb and extras

Surfshark bundles:

CleanWeb: ad/tracker/malware blocker (built into the app)
Obfuscated servers: intended to make VPN traffic harder to identify; not a guarantee of invisibility
NoBorders: detects restricted networks and presents suggested servers

No verified route-speed comparison

We do not have a reproducible route-specific benchmark to support the earlier 10–25 Mbps figure. Speed depends on your connection and selected server. Assess video calls or uploads on the actual route you need; this article cannot rank providers by Asian-route speed.

”Unlimited” with fine print

The published device allowance is unlimited. We have not verified numerical thresholds for account reviews, so the previous 10–20 and 100+ claims have been removed. Read the subscription’s usage terms rather than assuming a device allowance permits all forms of account sharing.

Upsell within the app

Surfshark sells additional security products and bundles. Check that the selected package matches what you need. We have not verified a single default checkout selection across regions or users.

Two separate toggles for stealth

Obfuscation and NoBorders address different connection problems. Consult current platform-specific setup instructions rather than assuming every app exposes identical toggles. We do not recommend a universal configuration for every restricted network.

Pricing breakdown

The official pricing page was checked October 5, 2026, but its price amounts did not render in the retrieved content. We are not presenting the previous dollar amounts as current.

Surfshark advertises a 30-day money-back guarantee. Check the applicable terms and purchase channel before paying. Turning off renewal is not the same as requesting a refund; retain the initial charge and renewal details shown at checkout.
