Pride Rated ("we", "us", "our") operatespriderated.com. This page explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
This is general information, not legal advice. We're an independent editorial site, and we try to keep this policy as plain as we can.
1. What we collect
Analytics (privacy-friendly)
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookie-free. It gives us aggregated, anonymous metrics like page views, country, and referrer. It does not identify you personally and does not follow you across other websites.
Server logs
Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) maintains short-term server logs for security and abuse prevention. These typically include IP address, request time, user agent, and the URL requested. They are not linked to your identity on our end.
Affiliate links
Some links on Pride Rated are affiliate links. When you click one, the destination site (e.g., Amazon, Impact, CJ, Awin) may set its own cookies per their own privacy policy. We don't control those — please review the destination site's policy.
If you email us (corrections, tips, press), we keep your message and reply address as long as needed to respond and to keep a record of corrections. We don't add you to a newsletter without explicit opt-in.
2. What we don't do
- We don't sell your data.
- We don't run third-party advertising networks that profile you.
- We don't use tracking pixels from social media platforms.
- We don't fingerprint your browser.
3. Your choices
- Analytics: Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookie-free, so there's no Pride Rated cookie to opt out of. You can still block the script with a content blocker if you prefer.
- Affiliate links: If you'd rather not pass through an affiliate link, you can search for the product directly on the destination site.
- Browser controls: Use your browser's settings to manage cookies, do-not-track signals, and permissions.
4. Children's privacy
Pride Rated is written for adult readers. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
5. Your rights (EU / UK / California readers)
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. Because our analytics is aggregated and cookie-free, we generally don't have personal data tied to your identity. If you believe we do, email us and we'll respond within 30 days.
6. Changes to this policy
We'll update this page when our practices change. Material changes will be noted at the top with a new "Last updated" date.
